HALLOWEEN 

 

The word "Halloween" comes from All Hallows' Eve and means "hallowed evening." Hundreds of years ago, people dressed up as saints and went door-to-door, which is the origin of Halloween costumes and trick-or-treating

 

the children have today been celebrating Halloween by coming in dressed up in their best fancy dress costumes and having a Halloween disco.  The children have also through the week done some lovely colouring in of pumpkins - some of which I'm sure you will have and treasure. Check out some photos on our gallery section.
